The Scouring of Gate Pass (4E)

A magical empire’s army marches on the neutral mountain city of Gate Pass, drawing the region into the opening conflict of a wider war. The player characters must retrieve vital intelligence from a spy and carry it through the besieged city to the distant wizards’ school of Lyceum. Along the way, they contend with enemy agents, foreign spies, bounty hunters, and inquisitors—mage-hunting clerics searching for the information. This adventure begins a 12-part campaign of military conflict, political intrigue, and escalating war between powerful magical nations.
