The Slag Heap (C&C)

A fantasy roleplaying adventure for 3–5 characters of levels 2–4. Agents hire the infamous Redcaps to raid settlements along the Hruesen River, and Baron Botkin calls on the characters to bring them to justice. Their investigation leads into the Barren Wood, where fiercely independent locals may be protecting the fugitives—or serving darker powers. The adventure explores the dangerous thorps near an ancient complex of slag and detritus, once a temple and dwelling dedicated to dark powers before the age of humanity. Characters investigate the region, uncover its hidden forces, and face arcane battles as the trail draws them toward the ruins.
