A 30-card deck provides tangible tokens for tracking, granting, and trading experience points in The Strange. XP is earned through discoveries, unexpected events, and facing unusual challenges rather than simply defeating monsters. The cards can change hands during play and fit easily alongside character sheets between sessions.
