The Sunken Fortress of Varkooth (C&C)

After lying buried for nearly 1,600 years, the fortress of the sorcerer kings of Varkooth has been rediscovered beneath the valley. Adventurers must explore its ruins and prevent the evil within from spreading. The adventure can include a hex-crawl journey from Lenden through the Border Lands, with random encounters, weather, and rumors in each town. The sunken fortress contains five dungeon levels descending into the Underdeep, populated by increasingly dangerous monsters.
