This sourcebook explores political conspiracies and espionage in the Mechanical Dream universe. It details an underground movement opposing the Core’s expansion, including its history, goals, thirteen component groups, rivalries, alliances, current projects, and hidden leaders. Three groups receive detailed coverage, alongside the Core’s independent intelligence agency and a new counter-espionage agent profession. The book also includes a complete adventure in which player characters serve as special operatives investigating strange events at an isolated Secure Stock A.E.S. repository and its adjoining town. The investigation uncovers sinister secrets and a wider web of intrigue. More than 20 game aids and an extended character index support play, either as a standalone scenario or the opening of a larger campaign.
