The Ziggurat of Tharizdun

A historian hires adventurers to escort and protect him on a journey into the Dim Forest. Their destination is a hidden temple in a sheltered clearing, less than a day’s travel away, with a reward of 100 gold pieces per character. This short, self-contained adventure centers on reaching the ruins and uncovering what lies within, and can also serve as part of a larger campaign narrative.
