Time of Crisis: The Age of Iron and Rust

Players lead rival dynasties during the Roman Crisis of the Third Century, vying for control of an empire threatened by internal unrest and external invasions. The game centers on deckbuilding to expand influence with the Senate, the Legions, and the People, using cards to recruit supporters, raise forces, and pursue legacy goals. This expansion roughly doubles the available Influence cards, opening new strategic combinations and development paths. Optional rules let players place their Emperor token on the board as an active commander who grants bonuses but can be removed to end a reign. AI profiles provide scripted non-player factions for three- and four-faction games and for solo play.
