To Kill a King

Set in a semi-historical, mythical Post-Roman Britain, this adventure takes place in the Welsh kingdom of Penllyn, where faery folk and druidic magic influence events. The characters are drawn into Queen Adyna’s plot against the goodly King Gwgon ap Gwron. The party tracks the king, investigates courtly alliances, and navigates espionage, betrayal, and intrigue across the wilderness, town, and castle. Even after the assassination, hired killers and other loose ends remain a threat. Designed for 2–5 characters of levels 3–5, the adventure can also be adapted to other fantasy settings.
