Players answer a series of personal yes/no questions about opinions, habits and experiences, then reveal some answers to the group. Based on those revealed answers, players try to deduce which other player gave the same pattern of responses and form teams accordingly. The game cycles through rounds of questioning, selective disclosure and deduction until teams are identified.
