Players place a personal station on a map of the U.S. and attempt to link a preset set of five cities by building rail segments. On each turn a player lays one or two track pieces, initially restricted to lines adjacent to their own station; once a player’s network joins another’s, they may build along the combined network. The game ends when a player connects all five of their cities. Strategic use of opponents’ tracks and timing of connections determines efficiency and typically decides the winner.

Garfield2.0 Too random, too much luck, almost no strategy.
Chipsmith7.0 Very nice game that is easy to learn. I was thinking at first some of the routes I would get would be impossible (thinking this was like ticket 2 ride), but the fact that you share routes with others makes it a different beast.
Tom3.5 Very easy, very fast. It just seems to lack something. However, I think it's an decent game to teach to new gamers. (Seems to have been replaced with Ticket to Ride in recent years.) The expansion Vexation makes it worth another try, to be sure.
