Valkyries

Players take the roles of four warrior-maidens who, supported by a goddess, break ranks to confront forces threatening the world. They fight wyrms, dark elves, draugr, frost giants and fire demons while seeking divine favor. The game is presented as a gamebook where each chapter adds rules and a new Battleground. Early chapters teach mechanics progressively: move across the Battlefield, play cards, and eliminate enemies while competing with sister warriors for leadership. After learning the basics, players can play Full Mode on standalone Battlegrounds, follow the Vanaheim campaign, or design custom scenarios and campaigns. Modular rules enable short skirmishes or extended campaigns and mix-and-match replayability.
