Veiled Fate

Players take the roles of divine patrons who have sired hidden demigod heirs among nine contenders. Each player secretly knows which demigod is theirs but may manipulate any demigod on the board. On their turn, players spend two actions to send demigods on quests that have two possible outcomes. Resolution depends on simultaneous secret voting with Fate cards, which award or remove Renown from participating demigods. Play proceeds over three ages; the demigod with the most Renown at the end becomes heir. The game combines positional maneuvering, use of special powers, and social deduction as players balance revealing allegiance against steering outcomes in their favor.
