A companion book that expands a miniatures wargame by offering structured systems for three play modes: Open Play, Narrative Play and Matched Play. It provides multiplayer battleplans for Open Play; several campaign frameworks for Narrative Play, including Path to Glory warband campaigns, map campaigns, tree campaigns with battleplans, and matrix campaigns; and competitive tools for Matched Play such as ladder campaigns, rules for pitched battles, six battleplans, and point profiles for most units and battalions (including legacy army compendium entries). Also collects allegiance abilities for the four Grand Alliances and reproduces the original core rules.
