Players command squads of steam-powered warjacks and supporting infantry under the control of a single warcaster, an elite soldier-sorcerer who channels magical effects onto the battlefield. Gameplay uses miniatures on a tabletop gridless battlefield; players alternate activating units, positioning forces, resolving attacks and special abilities, and managing focus and resources to power warjack actions and spells. Scenarios and point-based lists determine force composition and objectives, while detailed rulebooks provide core mechanics, unit stats, and options for expanded models and additional warjacks.
