Waypoints

Players hike through a varied landscape of mountains, valleys, lakes, and forests, plotting a personal route on a single-player sheet over four days. Each turn a die sets the weather and remaining daylight; weather effects change movement and available actions. All players simultaneously draw routes from waypoint to waypoint, choosing whether to tackle difficult terrain or follow easier paths. Terrain and encounters award points for animals and features recorded along the route, and final scoring evaluates the map created by each player.
