When the Ship Goes Down (Pathfinder)

A Pathfinder/3.5-compatible adventure for 4–6 characters of levels 8–11. After ships from Mohkba stop arriving and a captain’s body washes ashore, the party joins a voyage across Serpent Lake to discover what happened. The investigation leads to a floating island caught in a violent storm. Former companion creatures of a giant reveal that the island has caused widespread chaos, while its new occupants refuse to leave and a damaged weather machine produces extreme conditions. The adventure includes riot-control rules, a weather machine artifact, new monsters and monster variations, magical items, traps, level-adjustment guidance, and hooks for further adventures.
