Wir sind das Volk!: 2+2

Four players split into two fixed partnerships representing Western and Eastern blocs, but only one individual player ultimately wins. Players take asymmetric roles as superpowers and their allies, playing new event and action cards that model Cold War crises and treaties from 1945–1989. Gameplay centers on tug-of-war mechanics across global influence, the arms race, economic/technological competition and the space race. Partners coordinate to expand their side’s dominance while balancing shared goals against personal victory, using diplomacy, sabotage and timing of events to advance or hinder objectives. The expansion adds forty action cards that broaden strategic options and introduce historical events that reshape priorities each round.
