World at War: Blood and Bridges

A tactical wargame of late Cold War combat in the Rhine River Valley where British forces defend key bridges against a Soviet Guards spearhead. Players command armored, mechanized, artillery, aviation, and engineering units to seize, hold, or destroy river crossings. The game uses a mounted map, counters, scenarios and a unified rulebook that covers movement, combat, bridging, improved positions, air strikes, MLRS artillery and electronic warfare. An optional battlefield-chaos table introduces random weather, support missions, morale effects and other events. Scenarios focus on holding or denying bridges as combined-arms forces maneuver for control.
