In a resource-poor Renaissance world shaped by magic, honor, and severe climatic cycles, the spring decade brings milder weather to the people of Novomad. The heirs of six rival families venture beyond the fertile valleys into lands isolated since the long winter, seeking fame, fortune, and knowledge left behind by the ancient world. As dormant threats awaken and the truth of the Cataclysm remains unknown, travel and exploration reveal the dangers and secrets of the wastes.
