1852: Ferrovias na Bahia

An 18xx railway game set in Bahia, Brazil, where players operate private railway companies and may see a state-owned company enter the network. Nine private companies provide different advantages, including exclusive construction rights, town upgrades, route bonuses, dividends, and reduced building costs in difficult terrain. Companies construct tracks across a map with rivers and mountains, receive state incentives for developing certain areas, issue shares, and take loans to finance expansion. Private companies and special contracts connect ports, mining centers, agricultural routes, and other cities while competing for profitable rail networks.
