Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea

Players act as crew members aboard a steam-powered submarine, exploring surface and depth maps in search of sunken ships, marine life, islands, and hidden treasures. Each round, players simultaneously select one of three character rows, move the submarine according to movement points, and mark discoveries on personal sheets to score for line-of-sight islands, shipwrecks, seaweed forests, treasures, and hunted cetaceans. Choosing the same character as another player can trigger a hazard unless protected by a rotating Conseil card that grants temporary immunity. The game runs sixteen simultaneous turns, offers unique character bonuses, a solo mode, and double-sided maps that encourage timing of dives and surfacing for tactical scoring.
