Ambush!

A solitaire tactical wargame that puts a U.S. infantry squad into scripted World War II missions in occupied France. Players outfit and manage each squad member with stats for command, initiative, perception, weapons skill, driving, and movement, then send them onto detailed mission maps. Movement and actions trigger programmed-paragraph events and hidden enemy responses, while sequenced action rounds resolve firefights and reactions. Variable events, tactical choices, and randomized encounters create evolving scenarios that require positioning, resource allocation, and squad-level decision making.
