Bastogne: A Desperate Defense

This historical wargame depicts the German assault on Bastogne during the December 1944 Ardennes offensive, as surrounded American forces defend the town’s strategically important road junctions. Players maneuver units, assign limited support assets such as artillery, mortars, and anti-tank weapons, and resolve attacks using an attritional combat system. Formations can suffer casualties and weaken over time, making victory dependent on positioning, firepower, and careful management of available support.
