Battles in the East 2: Uman Pocket and Guderian's Final Blitzkrieg

The second game in a series of accessible East Front operational wargames, covering two 1941 battles: the German encirclement at Uman and Guderian’s offensive toward Moscow. Players maneuver regiment- to division-sized units across standardized maps, using headquarters for combat support and supply while managing unit cohesion, movement, and encirclement operations. Scenario-specific rules reflect the changing conditions of each battle, including Soviet resistance, German exhaustion, weather, and supply. The system is an evolution of classic operational designs and includes rules for two players, with strong solitaire suitability.
