Bosk
Players cultivate a set of trees across a park board through four seasonal rounds, balancing growth, trail influence, and leaf placement. In spring, trees are planted on intersections and expanded; in summer, hikers traverse trails and players score for top total tree values in each row and column. In autumn, wind direction and chosen leaf-count tiles determine how many leaves each player blows from a selected tree, creating meandering stacks that can cover terrain and opponents’ leaves (with a cost to cover). In winter, regions are scored for leaf coverage, awarding majorities and second places to determine the overall winner.

Evan4,6 This is an odd duck of a game. The game has two distinct rounds. Each round is played totally differently, and in fact the meat of the game is only in round 2. Round 1 is more of an extended game setup process, during which you score a few extra points. A mistake in setup, could mean you have a substantial disadvantage when the actual game gets rolling in round 2. Essentially, the starting player chooses a side of the board to place the wind chart. Then players secretly select a leaf tile, and place leaf tokens extending from the trees they placed in round one, in the direction of the wind. The aim is to have the most leaf tokens in each color area of the board at the end. You can cover someone else's leaf token by removing one of yours from the game. It's an ok puzzle. Less predictable the more players involved. The components are very pretty, but there are enough other games that do a similar thing that don't have the wonky 'play once through a two phase system' problem. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :star: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :nostar: Multiple plays stay interesting :star: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::star::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
