Players act as clan chiefs trying to attract followers from across the Highlands to join their clan. On each turn a player plays a numbered color card to an empty space adjacent to or opposite a card that matches in color or value, and may then place one of their clan tokens onto that location board. After a fixed number of rounds, resolution determines which chief controls each location: tokens are flipped to reveal play order and each token owner claims cards from lowest to highest value in that stack. Players total the values of cards they claimed; the highest total wins.
