Coup: Rebellion G54

Players start with hidden character cards that represent their remaining influence and take turns performing actions or collecting coins. Each round players may execute one of several character actions (available to anyone), take income, or launch a coup to remove an opponent’s influence; character actions succeed unless another player challenges them. When challenged, a player must reveal the claimed character or lose an influence; revealing the correct character penalizes the challenger and replaces the revealed card from the deck. Before play, five character roles are selected from a larger pool, changing which abilities and strategies are available and shifting the balance between bluffing, deduction, negotiation and luck.
