Emergence Event: The Awakening

This expansion adds two captains, eight galaxy tiles, two discovery story arcs, and extends the base game's story arcs to four acts. The arrival of the Markarians introduces a new encounter deck with difficult choices and additional dangers, culminating in the arrival of the Markarian Dreadnought. Players explore and control locations across a modular galaxy while adapting their strategies to galaxy tiles with special rules. New encounters and locations add variety as players uncover secrets and develop their species' story in preparation for the invasion.
