Emergence Event

A competitive space exploration game for 2–4 players, in which each player commands a species’ capital ship through a modular galaxy. Unique captain cards provide different strengths and abilities as players explore locations, gather resources, artifacts, and technology, and manage damage from travel and rival captains. Players use six skills, including science, diplomacy, and tactics, to control locations and resolve encounters. They can also venture into open space, face increasingly difficult random encounters, and investigate discoveries that reveal different stories. The changing galaxy and rising risks shape the game’s length, while exploration and control provide victory points.
