Geominos

A number puzzle strategy game played with 21 geometric tiles divided and numbered like dominoes. Players select a tile and place it on the board by matching it to another tile before time runs out, aiming to cover as much of the dark squares as possible. Pips on the light squares count toward the score, so players try to score few points while limiting their opponent’s options. When all tiles are placed, the player with the lowest score wins. Games take 20–30 minutes and use number, shape, and spatial skills.

It's a game that I'm going to keep, because I can use it in logical situations. At the same time, it isn't so much fun that I want to play it all the time. I realize a lot of people are going to like the deep thinking part of the game, and the tile placement is fun. For me, however, I want something that doesn't cause me to twiddle my thumbs while the opponent is taking their time to move. The timers help alleviate this problem a bit, but the game takes a turn for the "high stress zone" when that happens. See my review for more details...
