Diatoms

Players assemble a microscopic mosaic by collecting and arranging stylized diatom tiles on personal boards. On each turn, players place a colony tile to gain diatoms of various shapes and colors, then set those diatoms into their mosaic, aiming to satisfy scoring patterns such as color runs, shape variety, and symmetry around the board’s central axes. Games include rotating guest-judge cards that alter endgame scoring, and a solo mode where players fulfill specific commission objectives while drafting and placing tiles.
