Hit Z Road
Players take a post-apocalyptic road trip down a zombified Route 66, traveling from Chicago toward the California coast while navigating a deck of adventure cards. Each round starts with an auction that sets turn order and which encounters a player will face, forcing players to balance spending resources for priority against keeping them for fights and survival. Encounters include zombie hordes, traps, toxic zones, scavenging stops and vehicle options like abandoned buses. Three stacked adventure stages raise difficulty and vary each playthrough. Victory goes to the player who survives the longest or scores the most points through scavenging and overcoming hazards.

Evan1,6 Each round you put out a path of 2 cards. Players then bid with the tokens they need to survive their future encounters, in order to be first to select the path they want. Everyone pays their bid even if they don't pick first, because player order is that rather than clockwise. Then if you hit a card that has zombies you roll some dice. You can mitigate your situation by spending tokens. lather rinse repeat until all but one player is eliminated, or if 2 people live somehow (how?) then you look at points. The game also gets harder as you work your way through the deck. The game will at times give you tokens, but it won't explain what the tokens do until another card comes out that will either help you or punish you for having the token. I guess this improves if you want to subject yourself to multiple plays. The replayability comes from the fact you remove 4 cards randomly from each 'era', potentially a 12 card difference between games, but I don't see this changing the feel of the game in any significant way. The game far overstayed it's welcome, but if you were to shorten it, then you wouldn't get the thematic sense of dwindling supplies and dwindling hope. The real issue with the game is a lack of interesting choices. All you really do aside from rolling dice is decide how much to bid, and as the game goes on and the players get poorer, even this one decision is taken away. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :nostar: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :nostar: Multiple plays stay interesting :nostar: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::nostar::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
Zombies push your luck/ bidding game. The new Zombies! for me. So random, no interaction and really simple
setropo8,0 Ideal para jugar 1 vez, sin conocer las cartas. La tensión de no saber a que te vas a enfrentar es lo divertido del juego.
