Kings of Israel

Players act as lines of prophets in the Northern Kingdom working together to curb sin and remove idols across Israel before Assyria destroys the land. Each round progresses through phases where the current king’s nature triggers blessings or punishments, sin increases at revealed locations (possibly spawning or spreading idols), prophets take four actions each to move, remove sin or idols, gather or share resources, build altars, and perform sacrifices, and the timeline advances to the next king. The group wins by building a required number of altars before sin or idols overwhelm the board or Assyria ends the game; an optional expert mode adds a false prophet opponent, and a simplified family variant removes some mechanics for faster play.
