A tactical simulation of the Battle of Vauchamps during Napoleon’s 1814 campaign, where French forces under Napoleon and Grouchy confront Blücher’s Prussian and Russian army. The battle unfolds in three phases: Blücher’s advance as Marmont retreats, Marmont’s counterattack, and the Allied withdrawal under pressure from French cavalry. The game includes a 17" x 44" full-color map, more than 400 die-cut counters, rules, charts, and a magazine with articles on the battle and related military history. It uses a rule set distinct from other games in the series and serves as an introductory entry to the system.
