Set in the Mediterranean Sea from June 1940 to December 1943, the game depicts Allied convoys supplying Malta and Alexandria while Axis forces transport troops to North Africa. Players commit historical Allied and Axis units, including aircraft, surface ships, and submarines, to battles and convoy operations. Each engagement begins with an Operation card and an announced attack type, followed by Force cards played by the participants. After resolving any dice rolls, the two sides compare their totals. The leading contributor on the winning side distributes the convoy and captured enemy ships, which provide victory points and may increase hand size. After twenty-two convoys, the player with the most points wins.
