Players take turns revealing location cards that must connect to the previously revealed card by shared animals or landscape features. If a player flips a card with no connection, they are eliminated from the current round; the last pirate remaining claims a treasure token. Cards remain in fixed positions between rounds, so memory accumulates and players use previously seen information to find new connections, though luck can still decide outcomes. An advanced variant gives each animal a unique special action that triggers when a connected location is revealed, adding more tactical options.
