Pluckin' Pairs

Players see eleven images and secretly pair them off on their sheets, leaving one image as the outcast. Each round everyone independently chooses which images go together, based on visual or conceptual links. After writing pairs, players reveal and compare their choices. Pairs that are chosen by some but not all players score points: each player who picked a given pair gains points equal to the number of players who also picked it. Optional scoring for the outcast follows the same logic. Play proceeds for a set number of rounds and the highest total wins.
