In 1171, players represent influential members of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim communities in the village of Teruel, balancing their interests under the Fuero of Teruel. Each round, players negotiate over three events, then assign cards to them in turn. The events are resolved, the movement of each culture is calculated, and players check whether their character objectives have been achieved without upsetting the balance of power.
