Qawale

Players take turns adding and moving stones along a winding path, aiming to line up four stones of their color when the board is viewed from above. Each player has eight colored stones; a third neutral color occupies the four corner piles. On a turn, a player places a stone on top of any pile and then moves that pile along the path, leaving one stone on each space passed. Movement and stacking create tactical choices about control of spaces and the visible alignment of stones; the first player to form a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row of four of their stones (as seen from above) wins.
