Restart

Restart is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 20 minutes and is meant for ages 7 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4. The cheapest copy in stock is € 26,90 (Nederland).

Players secretly hold a rack of numbered and special tiles and try to get rid of them by extending five color-coded rows that start with the 1-tiles. On a turn a player may play one or several consecutively numbered tiles of the same color, as long as each played tile is higher than the last tile in that row. Special tiles change the flow: a Restart tile resets a row’s numbering, an End tile closes a row, Scissors remove the last tile on a row, and the Trash Bin clears a row back to its starting 1. After using Scissors or Trash a player may immediately continue by playing number tiles on that same row. Rounds end when no one can play or everyone passes; remaining tiles score as penalty points. Play repeats until a player reaches the losing threshold or someone empties their rack; the lowest score (or the player who empties their rack) wins.
