Frigate actions and the rise of the American Navy during the American Revolutionary era and the War of 1812. The game covers sixteen battles involving vessels from small gunboats to fifth-rate frigates, along with three dozen ship duels featuring one or two ships per side. Players maneuver and fight individual vessels using naval combat rules, while an initiative card system affects activation order and flexibility. The cards can also introduce shipboard events, and the systems are compatible with the original naval combat rules.
