Players add new Hypernet Craft ship cards and colony tiles that expand available abilities and placement options. Hypernet Craft ships do not have assigned sectors; when played they may be placed in any sector, enabling flexible engine-building and scoring choices. Some colony tiles provide ongoing powers that grant persistent effects for the remainder of the game rather than one-time victory-point bonuses. The micro-expansion integrates with base gameplay to increase variety and strategic options during fleet deployment and colony development.
