Players lead a small band of heroes into the dark Dwarven mines beneath the Misty Mountains, scouting tunnels for the source of increased Orc activity. The scenario introduces underground hazards, goblin enemies, and mechanics that represent travel in darkness and the risk of becoming lost. The pack adds a new hero and extra copies of player cards to expand deck options. Players manage exploration, encounter threats, and navigate branching paths; failing to find the correct route or to mitigate hazards increases peril and can derail the quest.
