The Phantom of the Opera

A tense two-player trick-taking duel set in the world of a haunted opera house. One player plays the Phantom trying to compose a perfect musical score; the other plays Christine trying to disrupt the melody and escape. Play unfolds over two rounds of ten tricks each. Players follow suit when possible and may use trump and a higher “super trump” suit to capture or avoid tricks. A special “Number on the Seal” mechanic triggers card exchanges and alters scoring, creating moments of high tension. The Phantom must win and lose specific tricks indicated on a music sheet to complete the score, while Christine aims to prevent that outcome. Simple rules support layered timing-and-precision tactics across every trick.
