Players cooperate in a surreal, ever-shifting world to explore eerie landscapes, aid strange locals, confront monstrous threats, and unravel a branching narrative. Each turn players move across a modular map, reveal tiles, trigger events, and interact with characters and environments using action cards, dice rolls, tokens, and individual abilities. Combat blends dice and card resolutions and rewards teamwork and tactical choices. Characters develop over time, gaining skills and powers that open new story paths. Decisions alter the course of the campaign, leading to multiple possible endings and varied replay experiences.
