Players equip townsfolk with gear, explore locations in Eureka Springs, and play cards to attack, defend, and trigger special effects. Cooperative planning and hand-management determine which strategies counter each Ruffian’s abilities and escalating threats. The campaign-style play emphasizes escalating challenges and character progression as the group aims to overcome the toughest hoodlums and prove themselves worthy of leadership.
