Tussie Mussie

2019 · Kaartspel

Tussie Mussie

Players assemble small bouquets by drafting cards that represent Victorian flowers and their symbolic meanings. Each turn, the active player reveals the top two cards of the deck and offers one face-up and one face-down to a chosen opponent; the opponent takes one and the active player keeps the other. Rounds end when each player has collected four cards, scores are calculated from the combined meanings, and play repeats for three rounds. The highest cumulative score wins.

¿Te animarás a regalar flores?

Regelvragen

Beantwoord vanuit het spelregelboek door de regelassistent van Ludoya.

Who do I offer flowers to, and in what order?

First, starting with the first player and going clockwise, everyone offers flowers to the player on their left. Then, starting with the first player and going counterclockwise, everyone offers flowers to the player on their right; in a two-player game, you make both Offers to the same player. (Rulebook, p. 6)

Can I look at a facedown flower before choosing it?

No. The player receiving an Offer chooses one of the faceup or facedown tiles without looking at a facedown tile first. After taking a facedown tile, they may look at it, but must return it facedown. (Rulebook, pp. 6–7)

Where do I place the tile I don’t choose?

The player who made the Offer takes the unchosen tile and places it in front of themselves, preserving its current faceup or facedown state. The chosen tile is placed to the right of the recipient’s previously gained tiles. (Rulebook, pp. 6–7)

When do my facedown tiles become part of my Keepsakes, and when do I reveal them?

After everyone has four tiles, shift all facedown tiles toward yourself to form a second row, keeping them in their original columns, then reveal them. After that, resolve any “Pre-Presentation” actions in any order. (Rulebook, p. 8)

Do I score my flower abilities before or after counting Hearts?

First, resolve the scoring shown on your tiles from left to right. Then score 1 point for each Heart and resolve the additional scoring text on applicable tiles. (Rulebook, p. 10)

What happens after the third round, and how are ties broken?

After the third round, add the total values of all your Victory Point tokens; the player with the most points wins. If players tie, the tied player whose Flower name comes first alphabetically in the final round wins. (Rulebook, p. 11)
