In Renaissance Florence, direct a team of assistants as they gather resources, visit workshops, and develop remarkable inventions for the city’s ruler. This worker-placement game features bidding for access to contested locations, allowing additional assistants to move ahead in line while those later in line pay more. Assistants can also work in the laboratory, so players must balance collecting resources, funding production, and completing inventions. Careful planning becomes essential in the final rounds, when no new resources can be acquired.
