Scythe: Encounters

A boxed set of 32 alternate encounter cards that replaces the standard encounter system with new options and outcomes. Each card presents a short narrative choice and associated rewards or penalties, often changing the way encounters influence resources, popularity, or unit positioning. Players draw and resolve these encounters during gameplay, making decisions that trade immediate gains against longer-term consequences. The set is designed to be played on its own for a few games before mixing the cards into the regular encounter deck, and several cards were developed from community submissions and new artwork.
