The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Attack on Dol Guldur

Players lead the host of Lórien in a direct assault on Sauron’s stronghold in Mirkwood, using a scenario adapted from the appendix of The Return of the King. The scenario supports solo or cooperative play for 1–4 players in Standard mode, and a larger Epic Multiplayer mode for 3–12 players. It includes two double-sided setup cards—one for each mode—and specifies the required copies for each format. Players construct decks and advance through the scenario’s encounters, resolve quest and combat phases, and manage resources and card effects to overcome the forces defending the fortress.
